Just in and weighing in at 8 lbs 6oz is a year 2000 Fender American Standard tele with upgrades. The pickups have been replaced with Fender N3 noiseless single coils, and the tuners are chrome deluxe Fender locking. The guitar feels good to play and has some natural road wear with chips in the finish, see photos. The finish is a sweet extremely bright red. Not fiesta, maybe hot rod red or lipstick. The frets do show visual wear but they are worn in a way that doesn’t affect playability and do not buzz, so fretwork isn’t necessary at this time. The maple neck and rosewood fretboard feel great, nice and meaty. The pickups are bright with lots of spank without all the hum. Overall an awesome tele. We’re also including a brand new Guardian vintage style hardshell tweed case with plush red lining.
