A first-year Mayer Strat, ready for its next player. This 2005 Fender John Mayer Stratocaster comes from the model’s debut year, is all original, and is in excellent Preowned condition. Everything works as it should, and a hard-shell case is included.

Fender gave the Mayer signature model a fuller C-shaped neck and Big Dipper single-coils voiced with a scooped midrange. Those are the details that put this model on players’ radar: a little more neck in the hand and a distinct take on familiar Strat character. If Mayer’s Fender years are your thing, this is a model worth getting to know.
