Start here for restrings and full setups. Fretwork, modifications and other repairs are quoted after we inspect your instrument.
Clear pricing before the work starts. Setup prices below include the $15 bench fee. Restring services have no bench fee. Strings and replacement parts are additional; you’re welcome to bring your own new strings or parts.

What’s in a full setup?
Cleaning, fretboard conditioning where appropriate, fret polishing, truss rod adjustment, setting action and radius, intonation, nut adjustment and tuning. Fret leveling, refrets, replacement parts and additional repair work are quoted separately after inspection.
Shop labor
A $15 bench fee applies to repairs, excluding restring services. Strings and parts are additional. We inspect the instrument or equipment before quoting the work.
Diagnostic evaluation
For stringed instruments and amplifiers. Collected at drop-off and waived if Sixx Gun Music performs the repair.
Fretwork, electronics & more
Pickup swaps, pickguard installations, wiring, nuts, hardware, fret leveling, refrets, fretboard replacement, neck resets and structural repairs: bring your instrument in for an inspection and a quote. We also service amplifiers, effect pedals, drums and other instruments. Call us about your gear or stop by to discuss the repair.

Let’s get the details right.
Talk through the job.
Show us what you want changed and any parts you’re bringing. We can usually provide an estimate at drop-off; some repairs need a diagnostic evaluation first.
Approve the work.
We’ll discuss the work and estimate with you. If we find additional work that would increase the approved cost, we’ll contact you for approval before proceeding with it.
Know the timing.
Restrings can be done the same day. Setup and repair turnaround depends on the work and the repair queue at drop-off. Ask us for the current estimate when you bring your gear in.
A few good questions.
Can I bring my own strings or parts?
Yes. Bring your new strings or replacement parts with the instrument so we can discuss the installation. Strings and parts bought from us are additional to service pricing. Customer-supplied parts do not carry warranty or replacement coverage from Sixx Gun Music.
Is a pickup swap included in a setup?
A full setup covers the adjustments listed above. Pickup installation, pickguard work and other modifications are separate services. Tell us everything you’d like done so we can include it in your estimate.
Can you quote a repair from a photo?
A photo can help us understand the issue, but we need to inspect the instrument before confirming the work and cost.
Do you offer rush service?
Ask us about availability when you drop off your instrument. We’ll confirm whether we can meet your deadline and discuss any rush charge before you approve the work.
When can I drop off a repair?

Repair warranty & pickup policy
We warranty all repairs for 30 days. 7 Days to pick up from completion of repair. After 21 days, items will be put into storage at a cost of $15.00 per week. After 60 days, the item will be considered abandoned and Sixx Gun Music will own it.
Disclaimer: Warranty does not cover damages by misuse, accident or any additional or improper installation after leaving Sixx Gun Repair Shop. Coverage will only cover faulty parts. Additional labor cost will be under the discretion of Sixx Gun Music staff.
