Do not settle for plastic! A bone nut is a simple and inexpensive way to greatly improve the tone and sustain of your guitar. If your nut is worn out we highly suggest replacing with bone. We only use bone (and occasionally brass) on our own custom builds. This nut is pre slotted and sized for acoustic guitars at 43mm long, 9.5mm high and 6mm wide. They’re a great size to start with for many guitars including Les Paul and SGs. We actually mostly use these for our Les Paul replacements. Will not work for Fender strat or tele, see other listing for the thinner size. Ready to install, shaping and filing to be done according to your needs and string height preference. Whether you’re building a brand new guitar or replacing your old worn out nut, bone is the way to go to get the most out of your strings.
