Are you ready to take your musical talents to the next level? Our Summer Band Camp is the perfect opportunity for young musicians to enhance their skills, make new friends, and have an unforgettable summer experience. Designed specifically for guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard players, our camp offers a comprehensive and fun-filled program over the course of 10 weeks.
Camp Details
Dates: Every Saturday for 10 weeks
Time: 2 hours per session
Location: 1641 E Sunset Rd Suite B102, Las Vegas NV 89119
Cost: $25 per class per student
What to Expect
Our camp is structured to provide a balance of technical instruction, music theory, and ensemble playing. Each week focuses on a different aspect of musicianship to ensure a well-rounded experience.
Week 1 and 2: Introduction and Team Building
- Icebreakers and getting to know each other
- Basic music theory review
- Fun ensemble games to build teamwork
Week 3: Instrument Technique and Care
- Technique workshops for guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard
- Instrument care and maintenance demonstrations
Week 4: Ensemble Playing
- Sight-reading simple ensemble pieces
- Tips for staying in sync and maintaining groove
Week 5: Music Theory and Ear Training
- Advanced music theory concepts
- Ear training exercises and group activities
Week 6: Solo and Ensemble Performance Skills
- Solo performance tips and coaching
- Small ensemble formation and practice
Week 7: Rhythm and Groove Focus
- Rhythm exercises and games
- Introduction to different groove styles
Week 8: Advanced Techniques and Repertoire
- Advanced techniques for each instrument
- Practice of challenging ensemble pieces
Week 9 and 10: Final Performance Preparation and Recital
- Final run-throughs of ensemble and solo pieces
- Dress rehearsal and final performance for family and friends
