A USA-Made Strat With Its Own Identity

This 2018 Fender American Performer Stratocaster pairs the familiar feel and versatility of a Strat with several player-focused features that distinguish the American Performer series.

Finished in Penny, this guitar has a warm metallic appearance that looks even better in person. It was sourced at the Dallas Guitar Show and remains in excellent preowned condition. An included hardshell case provides better protection than the deluxe gig bag originally supplied with this model.

Versatile Yosemite Pickup System

Three Yosemite single-coil pickups deliver clear Stratocaster tones with plenty of definition and dynamic response. The Greasebucket tone circuit rolls off treble without adding excessive bass, helping the guitar retain clarity when the tone control is reduced.

A push/pull switch on the second tone control adds the neck pickup in switch positions one and two. This provides additional pickup combinations beyond the standard five-way Stratocaster settings.

Comfortable American Performer Feel

The Modern “C” maple neck, 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and 22 jumbo frets create a comfortable playing surface for rhythm work, lead playing and expressive bends. Additional appointments include a six-screw vintage-style synchronized tremolo and Fender ClassicGear tuning machines.
