This limited-run Fender FSR American Special Hand-Stained Stratocaster delivers the feel, tone, and response that define an American Strat — with the kind of character you only get from a hand-rubbed satin finish.

Fender only produced these in small numbers, and for good reason. Each one was individually hand-stained to show off the natural grain of the alder body, giving it warmth, depth, and a played-in personality that stands apart from mass-production gloss finishes. The satin urethane neck feels fast and smooth, with jumbo frets and a comfortable Modern “C” profile that fits naturally in your hand.

This model features the same American Standard pickups used on Fender’s top-tier guitars, along with the Greasebucket™ tone circuit — letting you roll off highs without adding muddiness. The result is clean, articulate tone with just the right amount of bite.
