Do not settle for plastic. A bone nut is a simple and inexpensive way to greatly improve the tone and sustain of your guitar or bass. We only use bone (and sometimes brass )on our own builds. This nut is pre slotted and sized for Gibson basses such as a Thunderbird or EB style but as always check measurements to be sure, you can always shave it down, it is a chunky size unlike thinner Fender nuts. Ready to install but may need some light shaping and filing for your particular instrument and preferences. Whether you’re building a brand new bass or replacing your old worn out nut, bone is the way to go to get the most tone out of your instrument and strings.
