A bone nut and or saddle is a simple and inexpensive way to greatly improve the tone and sustain of your guitar. If your nut is worn out we highly suggest replacing with bone. We only use bone or brass on our own custom builds. This nut is pre slotted and sized for acoustic guitars at 43mm long, 8.5 mm high and 6mm thick. These are a nice chunky size so you have plenty to work with and shave to custom fit your guitar. Ready to install, shaping and filing to be done according to your needs and string height preference. Whether you’re building a brand new guitar or replacing your old worn out nut and saddle, bone is an excellent choice for the best tone from your strings.
