For those of you new to the Valkenburg brand please feel free to look into one of the most well kept secrets among the pros. For over 20 years Master luthier Daniel Margasa has been building and servicing the guitars of the stars. Recently the public has been pressing the Nevada based builder to produce his creations for the masses. Major artists alike have also come on board to help Daniel create his latest offerings.

The GT-1 is no exception and already causing a stir.Recently this very guitar was on loan to long time touring and session guitarist Mitch Perry (Cher, Lita Ford, Foreigner, Quiet Riot, Alcatrazz) .We could go on but Mitch has over 40 Gold and Platinum records under his belt. He was kind enough to use this awesome axe while he waited for his new custom Valky The “FB”. (see video}. Now back to the GT, which features an Alder body in knackered finish, 9.5″ radius maple on Maple Neck with an oval C shape, Gotoh vintage staggered tuners and Gotoh vintage 6 point trem with added graphite saddles. Other custom features include, Margasa Hurricane humbucker and Valkenburg single coils in mid & neck positions along with Bourns pots and Pure Tone input jack. The look and tone of this guitar are a perfect compliment of modern playability with vintage vibe and monster sound. Super fast neck – just ask Mitch Perry. This year Mitch will be playing alongside his pal, Ron Keel, in Steeler so look out for the new record and video featuring The Perry FB guitar a true work of playable art.
